Is there a good step by step guide of questions we can ask when calling

companies to get letterheads to find out legality of a product?

I am going to make a community based wiki (with subject for approval by a couple

of people) so that people can check and see when commercial products were last

checked. There is no sense denying people use *some* convenience items and I

have already seen posts of things that were checked out that aren't legal

anymore.

I don't expect a full sanction from the SCD community for such a project since

the mantra is " Make your own, Make your own "

But still, something like this can help all of us make " better " decisions.
