---We started with Igg food allergy testing. The Dr. drew blood and

sent it out and they tested for 97 different foods. We suspected

dairy but never would have had a clue as to the gluten, soy egg and

sesamie that came up. It made it a whole lot easier. I also kept a

very detailed food /behavior/bm diary daily. (lot of work ugh!) and I

found out that he also could not tolerate cashews. My son would

typically get a rash on his butt, loose stools, terrible agression and

obsessive behavior and hyper. Major temper tantrums too. (ugly)

We did allergy testing-nothing showed. I actually didn't expect

results from the diet because I didn't see what some people described

(kids drinking a gallon of milk or grabbing up all the bread they

could get their hands on-cravings) but my daughter did self limit to

alot of milk/wheat things. She had definite withdrawl when we took

her off gluten and casein but we did it slowly so it wasn't too

horrible(casein first.) It was obvious the first time she got ahold

of something(cheese coated rice cake) that something was going on.

She was very hyper/moody and had nasty sour diarrhea for a few days.

Then we started realizing the phenolic problems...oranges and bananas

mainly. Now she is fine using the No Fenol(she just started this.)

Hope this helps.
