Guest guest
Hi: My son has been GF for five days now (he's been CF for 10 months) and so far we've seen very little of the miraculous improvements we'd hoped for. There have been a few small changes, but I was wondering: how long should we expect to wait before we see exactly what the diet will do for him? Today (and for the last couple of days) my son has been wild -- lurching around the house, dashing from room to room, chewing everything he can get his hands on, giggling and shrieking uncontrollably. He even tried to bite and hit one of his workers today. Aggression is very unusual for him, and the hyperness and chewing had been fading for the past several months. BTW, my son snatched a crust of regular bread this evening before I could catch him. Will this set us back to the beginning, or will such a small amount matter? I've been pleased with my son's ability to accept GF substitutes for his favorite foods, and I'm happy to say he liked the chocolate-chip cookies I made better than the Pamela's cookies we keep in the cabinet. Thanks for listening!
