There are three tiers of meds and vitamin/minerals. You can find the list in

files on the Mitoldies web site.

If anyone is interested in the rationale for using cofactors and vitamins

(aka mito cocktail) in mitochondrial disease, go to http://www.umdf.org/ and

click on information center, patients & families, treatments. On this page

there is also vital information on the potential benefits and potential

risks of dietary changes. Unfortunately, the way the site was built in

frames, there is no easy way to post links to individual pages. I can only

give you the path. I really wish they had a site search too--would save lots

of time.

Barbara,

I have mentioned the site problems to UMDF, but the person doing the

site at least when it was first built was doing it for free. She may

still be doing it for free and not know other ways to do a website. I

too wish it was done more user friendly.
