Guest guest
If your child is complaining about his back hurting, then the infection is probably on it's way to the kidneys (if not already there). You can buy urine analysis sticks in the drug store to check for lucicites, blood, etc. You may not necessarily see blood in the urine but if it is there then an antiobiotic must be started immediately, if not sooner. Your Dr. can also due this urinalysis right in his office with immediate results. Good luck!
Guest guest
I am certainly no expert. If you think your child has a UTI or bladder infection and his back is hurting it sounds like it may even be in his kidneys. A friend of mine suffers from Lupis (Lupis effects the kidneys) She would complain of her back hurting. On a lighter note, Kirkman has a cranberry tablet that is chewable. One tablet equals to 10 gallons of juice without having to taste or drink it. They also have a hypoallergenic capsule too. This might be a good option. It is also casein and gluten free. Check their website. www.kirkmanlabs.com __________________________________________________
Guest guest
The kidney problem is the part that scares me...thats where I would definetly give antibiotics...but on the other hand, sometimes PEDs are way to quick to give antibiotics, does that make sense???? Actually I have the capsules(hypo-allergenic) and I haven't started them yet, not really sure how, maybe I will call them and ask!! Thanks, Debbie > I am certainly no expert. > If you think your child has a UTI or bladder infection > and his back is hurting it sounds like it may even be > in his kidneys.
