Guest guest
Thanks for all the Prayers and concern for . It has been a very long week for us all! Here is a quick update on his Neuro appt yesterday. The doc can't give us any idea of when this will resolve so I am taking it day to day. He seems a bit better today :-) His spirit seems more happy than he has been the last week when all this started. It occurred to me yesterday when we got in the van to go to the doc that I hadn't be outside in a week! I was really worried about his screaming and holding his head. He started this Wed. morning. Each time he fell asleep he would wake up in 5 mins or so screaming for me holding his head and seizing with his eyes wide open and staring across the room. When he fell asleep last night he did relatively well, better than I expected actually. Let's hope this is starting to resolve and a bit more rest will do the trick. Speaking of rest, when (respite worker who is like family to us) got here we all fell out onto the bed and watched blues clues in a fog!!! I fell asleep at 8:15 last night!!! I am still yawning as I write this email----chronic fatigue is setting in :-) Dennis saw our PCP yesterday because he is sick with an ear infection of all things,LOL, and he gave the doc a heads up that I might be in need of some care myself when this is all over because as we moms and caregivers are famous for, we get thru the crisis and then crash! I am trying to stay rested and do all the " right things " that I know I should, but it is easier said than done! I have read some posts this am and I am so glad to see that is making some progess with her appts---congrats to you! Thanks for the concern,
