Guest guest
My five year old son has darkened skin. The only thing I can come up with for this is some kind of a mal-absorption. He also had stomach aches, bone and joint aches and sore throats. And he's small and slightly built for his age and genes. With the diet the only time he complains of the aches are after an infraction. But he still has the darkened skin, though sometimes I thinks he looks pale, so it may be starting to lighten. He has been likened to a Mexican, or an Arab (by others) to give you an idea of the coloring. He's blond, from a family of light colored blonds. Does anyone here have any ideas on this. Dr. thought the coloring was due to a limited diet (can't seem to convince him that my ds eats about everything). He had blood work done to test for allergies and appears to have none (?). Going through the traditional routes to solve this would obviously be a long and tiring trek, so I would like to get ideas from people who have taken this trek before ( maybe some of you were lucky enough to get it solved from the start). Any thoughts would be welcomed, since most of you have probably learned enough for a degree in some medical field. Thank you. Lolita
