Guest guest
Janet, First, thank you for replying to my post! I just have a quick question. You said in your post, " Another funny question he asked was if I climb steps one at a time or a couple at a time. " Why did he ask this. What is the significance? Again, thank you for your reply, I look forward to hearing from you again. Angie > Angie, > > I can relate to the feeling hot all the time and the fatique and the intermittent numbness. Seemingly unrelated but they are all related. He was especially concerned about memory. Guest guest
Hello Angie, I do not know why the doc asked this. I know my brother is pigion-toed and I walk on the sides of my feet, always have. Not sure if this is a characteristic of melas or not. I know that being hard of hearing, heat intolerance, and exercise intolerance is. Another question they kept asking me when I was in the hospital doing the tesis if I ever put things in the wrong places or called people by there wrong names. Back in 1997 I thought this was also wierd but over the past couple of years have noticed when I am very tired or fatiqued I cannot remember such things as the word refrigerator or living room. That happens to me a lot, and as far as I can tell, lessens tremendously when my ammonia levels are under control. Short-term memory loss, confusion, and dementia are symptoms of high ammonia levels in the blood. A scarier symptom is sudden anger, especially since I have three young kids. I am getting better at understanding that symptom as soon as it starts, and that makes me take some medication to lower my ammonia levels... Take care, RH > Re: New Here-JANET > > > Janet, > First, thank you for replying to my post! I just have a quick > question.
