My son is 5 1/2 and it'll be a year in April that we started this diet. He

has made amazing progress. Even though others don't see anything wrong with

him he still has some things to work on. For the most part though the diet

has been a lifesaver for us as well. Before the diet he was grumpy or mad

80% of the time, tantrumed at least 7 times a day, did not know his emotions,

very little eye contact, had to be told directions at least 5 times if not

more, could not handle a change in his daily routine, would scream and cry

when I picked him up from school, and had only a couple of friends. All of

these things have changed if not more. We only supplement with a vitamin

supplement and a teaspoon of flax oil every day and he also has therapies at

school but my little boy has come a loooooooooong way. I never thought we

would be where we are today.

I know I feel the same way about this group. I had nobody on my side and I

really felt all alone with this diet but this group is what has kept me

going. Thank goodness for the internet.
