Guest guest
How about giving your child calcium supplement at nighttime? It is supposed to help with sleep. Lana
Guest guest
Dr. Duran suggest that you wake the child 1/2 hour before they usually wake up. This is as gentle as going in their room and saying their name until they stir (you don't have to get them up, open their eyes, etc). Something about sleep cycles ...I don't remember the specifics at the time. Of course my child, is extremely difficult to calm at night and she does not wake at the same time...so I have never tried this method. This doctor works with autistic kids in NY and if the wake time was predictable, this was his suggestion. Good luck.
