Hi ,

We've been using Dari-Free for over a year now. I use really really HOT HOT

water to mix the first two parts together, then cold to fill up to 2 qts at

a time. I use 1 cup of Dari-Free powder and mix it with too-hot-to-touch 2

cups of tap water, then shake VERY well. It looks VERY thick at this point.

Then I fill the remainder of the pitcher to 2 qts and shake like heck!!!

Turns out real creamy.

I think the reason you are getting more of a watery mixture is that you are

not mixing it with HOT water to begin with. The colder the water at first,

the less 'creamy' the Dari-Free.

Hope this helps,

Penny

Hi , LJ just went on the Darifree and I find it much better tasting

then rice milk. LJ was allergic to soy so I can't compare it to that,

and now I found out he's allergic to rice so that why we started the

Darifree. When I made it though it was not watery at all, and in fact

looks just like real milk to me, where the rice milk looked like watered

down beverage. Don't know and can't explain it.

Hi , I've been giving Aidan Darifree for a few weeks, one thing

I noticed is that you have to mix it with warm or hot water, if you

mix it with cold water it doesn't seem to come out as creamy.

, do you make it with a rounded cup of powder and 2 cups of hot milk,

blend well and then add enough cold water to make 2 quarts? Mine comes out

creamy that way. In fact, since I do not always remember to shake it, it is

often thicker as I get to the bottom of the jar.

Oh, and if you like chocolate milk, I have used the used the recipe on the

Hershey's box to make chocolate milk. I love it. I used my juice bottles

to keep our Dari-Free in.

tried increasing the amount of the powder with the next batch and that did

help some, but it's still not what I would consider as good as soy milk.
