Guest guest
, I was hoping that once your nutrition improved, that your heart might begin to repair and improve. I am sorry to hear that is not happening, at least yet. I pray your doctors will be wise in their decisions. So many challenges here, so many things to balance. I think of you often. Hugs, Barbara _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of LILQT4U1984@... Sent: Monday, May 23, 2005 7:24 PM To: Subject: echocardiogram results I recieved my echo results today. I have cardiomyopathy and my EF was 35%. There were no significant changes over the last 4 months since my last echo. My EF decreased by 5%. The doc is out of town so the nurse is going to discuss this with him when he returns and see what he wants to do. The prob is that I don't have the classic heart failure symptoms. My BP is way too low instead of high so that eliminates the majority of the medications used. There is one med that just makes the heart pump better/more but is has quite a few side effects so I don't know if the doc would want to introduce it or not. Thats all I know for now. Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear that your echo wasn't better. My mother had significant cardiomyopathy, yet with continued use of CoQ, she died from several strokes rather than her heart. Stay positive as I know you will. You are in my thoughts and prayers. laurie > I recieved my echo results today. Guest guest
Dear , I am sorry that the news was not better on this today. I sure hope the docs can give you some answers and support in this area soon. I'll continue praying for you. Guest guest
--- I am sorry that your echo did not show improvement. Maybe your body just has not had enough time to heal from the increased nutrition. Let's hope this is the case. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Guest guest
, Have you had a chance to talk with your doctor about the test results? Guest guest
I have an appt on Monday at 12:30 with my cardiologist. That is his first day back in the office after 3 wks so the nurse said to plan to have a long wait but she felt it was warranted that I be seen since I passed out and have had some off and on left arm pain. I'm going to the hospital today for pre-op tests. One week from today I will have my ileostomy reversal surgery. I'm counting down the days. Thanks for asking .
