I do not know if it is herb or not. I had to ask the pharmacist for it the

last time I bought some 9 years ago. At one time it was out on the counter.

Some drug stores do not even carry it any more. It is topical, although the

mouth is painted with it. You do not take it orally. You have to be very

careful with it as it will stain ANYTHING it touches purple
