I spoke to Carlita at Dr. K's office, I'll assume she's not a nurse

since she answered the phone. She is looking into specifics for my

case, but says people are usually asked to come to NEMC a day early.

That would actually work well for us, as my husband has the Friday

before my Monday appointment off.

She also mentioned a " Basic Metabolic Panel " , which I didn't get a

chance to ask her about. Has anyone had that done? Is that just

blood work? If it has to be done fasting, maybe I'll see if they can

do it the morning of my appointment...

Thanks,

RH
