I also have been wondering about her but I haven't seen anything posted about

her either. I don't know if I mentioned it previously but I will be having a

colon biopsy done a week from today. dolores

I just got home from the doctor and I go tuesday for another echo and I made

another visit to the " vampire " suite (ha). Does unexplainable " total body "

swelling go along with Mito? I am swollen from under my eyes to the tips of my

big toes. A pair of slacks that fit me fine when I wore them last Friday to a

church luncheon (they didn't have a full elastic waist just in the back and a

side zipper) would not go around me Sunday when I started to put them on to wear

to Church and Sunday School. The only other time I have EVER had a problem like

this was when I was pregnant with my oldest son and I developed toxemia, he was

born six weeks early I know I'm confused and I'm confident that the doctor is??

Thanks, Dolores

Thank you, Malissa. I was concerned that the silence was not good news. At

least she is home. I'm glad to know that much.

Bless you! I guess I learned between the time I was 27 and 34 it was better to

laugh than cry. They found ovarian cancer at 27 and the rest is history,

between lumpectomies, biopsies, and mastectomies I was ready to throw in the

towel at one point, and strange but to me true my Great-Uncle who had been a

Nazarene Minister refused to allow me to go across that bridge where he was and

where everything was so beautiful. The doctors told my husband to call any

family that would want to see me and when my Aunts and Uncles got to Topeka from

Nebraska I was awake and recognized every last one of them, mainly I just wanted

all the tubes out of me and OUT of ICU. I can remember my husband waving his

hand at Bill to not come in, I even told him what Bill was wearing and that my

Dad was standing in the doorway with Bill. They were trying to tell my husband

that I was gone for a minute or so and I guess that was when I either was

dreaming or there is really such a thing as what I have

always believed was a " near-death experience " .

Back to the real world of today where Earth is catching up with Mars and by

August 27th to the naked eye Mars will look as large as the full moon. My son

said that no one alive today has ever seen anything like this before and no one

alive today will ever see this astronomical event again as the next possible

time this could happen again would be in 2287.

On yes, have you ever heard of unexplainable all over swelling being a part of

this Mito thing?

Take care and God Bless, Dolores

Time before last when I was in there she put me on lasix and potassium both

three times a week and now she is increasing both of them to one daily.

Previously, she tried to blame it on my kidneys but my urologist blew that idea

out of the water this week. A couple of weks ago she said she wasn't sure if my

breathing problems were from my heart or my lungs?? Of course there isn't much

she can figure in 15 minutes and that is what Cotton-O'Neil allots their

physicians per patient for $94.00 to $135.00 per visit?? My current neurologist

had his resignation made out the first time Administration called him up and on

the carpet for taking too much time with his patients, so the next time he dated

the paperwork handed it to them and walked out. He now has his own practice and

can devote all the time he wants to his patients. That is part of the reason I

went from 2001 until this January with a mis-diagnosis of Parkinsons. I

attempted to mention to her today that it appeared to me

that I have a nodule of some kind (perhaps a swollen gland) in the right side

of my neck/throat and she looked at her watch and said, " you won't die from that

until next time, I'll look at it then " . Oh well, maybe this trip to the

" vampire suite " will show something? Thanks for the ideas and keep the prayers

coming, I can really use any extra anyone has laying around as I just can't get

down sick, I have made such tremendous strides since they got all those

Parkinsons meds out of my system. Two weeks ago I was running a low grade fever

and wasn't up to going to a church luncheon on friday or church on sunday but

have been having problems with swelling in my legs and feet for sometime to the

point that the veins are starting to break and shatter. My Pastor's wife just

remarked Sunday how great I am getting around and I do so want it to stay that

way. Again, thanks! Dolores

Hi Dolores,

Sorry to hear that you have some explainable total body swelling. I never

heard of that being connected to Mito, but who knows, lots of things happen

with Mito.

Might it be that you changed laundry detergents, took a different brand of

vitamins, changed bath soap, etc...Did you happen to take anything for a

cold, sinus's, etc...

Are you taking laxis? And if so does your doctor have you on Potassium with

it? Sounds like your body is having a reaction to something.

Sure hope this helps. Can't think of anything else. And my prayers are with

you as you go for your biopsy.

Are you sure you aren't pregnant again!!! Heheheheh ;-)

Hugs,

Ann-Marie
