Guest guest
Hi RH, My appointments are usually scheduled for 1pm or 2pm as I take the train in from RI. This gives me time to catch the train, get into Boston and I usually walk from the train station to the NE Medical Center. My appointments always last 2-3 hours (I have seen Dr. Korson on 3 occassions now). He is very patient and takes his time with you. He usually ends the appointment with the blood work and I have never had a problem getting it all done in the same day. He has suggested that I go to Atlanta for a biopsy at some point. My suggestion, if you are up to it, is to take another day in Boston just to enjoy what Boston has to offer. NE Medical is right in the heart of the theater district and there are tons of wonderful restaurants. Also, not far and easily accessible from the T, is the NE Aquarium, Boston Museum of Science, Quincy Market and the Art Museum. About a block away from NE Medical is China Town too.........but that may be too much of an adventure. ) Whatever you decide, I hope your experience with Dr. Korson is a positive one (I can't imagine it wouldn't be) and I hope your trip to Boston is pleasant. Take care Sheila
