Guest guest
Hi All So after a whirlwind weekend I had a PICC line placed yesterday. It didn't hurt any more than a regular IV. However, it isn't in good position and it probably won't last too long. So the IV nurse encouraged me to have a port scheduled ASAP. So much for being able to do GI testing and actually make a choice about this. I know I need it and that I'll feel better but I hate doing things quickly like this. I'm meeting my new PCP today. I hope I don't scare him away on the first visit. Dr. Korson's office has been phenomenal in getting all this taken care of. Does anyone else see Dr. Quo at Mass General for GI motility? I'm being referred to him. Thanks Heidi
