Guest guest
I am happy you are in less pain, but be careful on overuse when it's feeling better. My husband ended up getting an arthrogram which showed a torn labrum, but actually had no rotator cuff damage. Could they put you in a sling or something to limit your movement for a while? Guest guest
I also am very thankful for you that there won't be a need for surgery as my brother-in-law had to have surgery but his was a damaged Rotar Cuff. Anyway, I had an MRI done of my shoulder and it showed no Rotator Cuff damage. I was thankful for that, but it didn't answer the main question which is " What is causing all this pain? The x-rays showed that the ligaments that move over the rotator cuff are falling off the side. So far they aren't torn or ruptured. I will call him on Monday and set up another appointment with him and have another injection. He did say that some people need more than one injection. Guest guest
Hi Donna, Ouch!! bone spurs hurt big time. My husband had some in the heel of his foot and they had to be removed. He said it really hurt when they removed them. Did you get the bone spurs in your neck removed? I am sorry that you are dealing with the pain of the bone spurs and the protruding disks. Do you still have the pain from the bone spurs? Hope things are going well for you. Guest guest
Hi RH, That is exactly what is happening....my shoulder started to feel better and I over-used it and now I am paying the price once again. My Ortho told me the name of the ligaments involved but I forget the name. I guess they could put me in a sling or somehow limit my use and movement of the shoulder but I doubt I would follow the regimen. (bad patient) <:-| I will call him on Monday and get another cortisone shot. But I am so glad that the pain is less.
