Guest guest
That sounds like good news, I do so hope that there won't be other problems down the line. They spent an hour checking it over and repairing it enough to let me use it until the parts come in. He didn't think that the motors were damaged, but would include a phrase to the airline about them paying for damage to the motors if some is found when they tear the chair apart to fix it. It is a relief to know that I can use it. laurie Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements contained herein are not necessarily those of the list moderators. I'm glad you have your chair back but srill caution you to not sign off on anything after the full repairs are done for a while. My wheelchair rhaat Northwest damaged and supposedly fixed has never been the same. What airline did you fly to St Louis with? --nmgram
Guest guest
Alice We flew Northwest. The wheelchair place said they do repairs on damage done by airlines all the time. He said there were more Northwest than any other. pointed out that more Northwest flights are out of Detroit than any other, so it might not be an accurate accessment of who does the most damage. I think I have a year from the claim to take it back for any other damage. I will call on Mon. to make sure they got the info from the wheelchair clinic and double check on the year limit. laurie > Laurie. > I'm glad you have your chair back but srill caution you to not sign off > on anything after the full repairs are done for a while.
