Hi as I'm sure you can tell by the time of my post that this is one of my

problematic nights as I was experiencing swelling of my feet again all day

yesterday and this was afrer taking two Lasix . A weight a gain of six pounds

yesterday now has progressed to the point that sleep is not to be had due to

lack of air again. I finally decided just to get up to see if that helped as

laying down just isn't in the picture. Now to your question, I definiely have

had this experience, at various times and several years ago the urologist I was

seeing prescribed Donnatal for my bladder spasms, he said it can be used for a

variety of problems including " motion sickness " ? When I was still able to work

the woman that was the Pharmacy Consultant for Kansas Medicaid suggested I try

Azo-Cranberry pills, they can be purchased at Walgreens or Wal-Mart in Topeka,

they also have what is called Azo-Gantrasin which has a " dye " that l have taken

on rare occasions, I am a firm believer in the

Azo-Cranberry. I hope this will be of some help to you. I am trying to regain

my energy back after a colon biopsy and a biopsy of my esophagus on the 23rd. I

also had heart tests done last tuesday which showed a leakage areound two of my

heart valves? I guess I'll hear on the heart tests his week and I have a

follow-up visit with Dr. Feagan on the 30th about the pathology results. I do

so hope you can find some relief from the bladder spasms as they are very

painful and I am speaking from first hand experience. At times I have also

tried using a heating pad. Good night and God Bless, Dolores

Hi,

I have bladder spasms and was wondering if anyone else here has them? They

are very painful and at times can last a long time. For those of you who do

have Bladder spasms what do you do for them? Is there a medication to take

to stop the spasms? Is there some kind of surgery to stop them? I do know

that they are not unusual in Mito patients, so somebody has to know what to

do to eliminate them or at least keep them at bay.

Thanks!!

Hugs, Ann-Marie
