Guest guest
Jan, my name is Dolores and if I may I will send a request to my church's prayer line. I just recently have started posting or coming out of my shell as until approx six months I was being treated for something I did not have and by the Gace of God one of my doctors got brave enough to step forward and come to my aid, all this unknown to me until he had found enough proof to be able to find a different neurologist for me and " sort of " a diagnosis of Mito. I am well aware of your concern and I will keep you and your husband in my thoughts and prayers. I went thru a similar situation in 2001 with my husband, as well as a wide variety of cancer surgeries myself. If I don't see a post that you would not want me to have Jeff's name added to our prayer line then in the morning I will add his name. Please know that you and Jeff are not alone in this, as I am sure God will be watching over both of you. God Bless!! jan jones writeplace@...> wrote: I am a slient member of this group. I have dysautonomia and perhaps some sort of mitrochrondia problem, so I monitor the group with interest and I have learned a lot from you all. I am a regular poster on the DINET board which is for dysautonomia with my handle being Michigan Jan. I live near Ann Arbor. Now my husband is diagnosed with esophgeal cancer stage 4. The cancer started in the esophogus, grew downward into the stomach and has spread to the liver and most likely to the lymph nodes. He was told by the oncologist we saw yesterday that he is not a candidate for surgery or radiation and chemo is the only therapy available to him and that they cannot cure him. Tomorrow we go to a cancer center for an opinion from an oncologist, surgeon, and radiologist that specialize in this kind of cancer. We are asking as many people as can to pray for him and keep him in your prayers, but we are having a specific time for prayer tomorrow night--Wednesday June 22 from 8 - 9 p.m. Eastern Time. Anyone reading this, please join us. His name is Jeff . We have many people who are already going to join us. Please do so if you can. We believe in the power of prayer. I once organized a prayer vigil for someone and the strength of all those voices in unison was such a powerful thing. Thank you Michigan Jan

Guest guest
HI Jan, I will be praying for your husband to come through this well, and prayers for you for strength and courage, as you help him through his cancer. Remember to take good care of yourself during this ordeal, as you must keep well too, so you can be there for him!! Hugs, Barb
