Guest guest
, Hi, its me . I just had a party for LJ at a private party place in November and the menu would have been pizza, but I explained LJs situation with the diet and for us they switched the menu to finger sandwiches instead cause I can easily duplicate that but I cant duplicate the pizza, and then I just brought LJs sandwiches. As far as the cake they usually have icecream cake so instead they got a cake from the local bakery (white with choc. icing) and I duplicated a piece for LJ. Private party places are more willing then a public party place like Chucky Cheese. And there is no risk of cross contamination like there could be at CH.CH. with all the other parties going on. They even made up a special goodie bag for LJ without candy. Good luck. on Long Island New York + On Mon, 12 Feb 2001 17:33:05 -0500 Dibra ndibra@...> writes: > .. > I just needed to vent..Let me know what you have done in these > situations.. and NOW I am thinking.. Guest guest
, My son's birthday was last week. He has been on the diet for 1 year gf and 2.5 years cf. I actually got away ordering a huge cake for all his friends and parents and then I made cupcakes for my son and one of his friends that is also on the diet. I also brought crunchy snacks for him to eat. He did fine. He looked at the candle on the big plate and then went back to his plate with his cupcake and snacks. The cupcake didn't look too different. For school, I sent in a batch of gfcf cupcakes and all the kids actually ate them. The teacher wasn't too impressed though.
