Guest guest
Shari I found this amazing. How though does he know this. I have never heard of this before. I am just wondering about the science behind all of this. I always like to understand why, how things are the way they are. Do you think you could find out . I will try this, especially since he has developed this new nasty rash. I remember too that some people were using these ph. sticks in the urine for determining if there was an overgrowth, the kind you would get in a pool or pet store. Does anyone remember that> kelly > > This is a triple post...WANTED to share, I went to our DAN Dr today, and > an AMAZING thing happened!!! Guest guest
Shari I gotta ask too how is this yeast thing coming with the chelation. Remember that mercury rash? Does the chelation bring out the yeast? What happens to the yeast during chelation? kelly

Guest guest
Shari, I'm going to try that. I've been having trouble getting the yeast overgrowth tests done on my children. But my son has excema right now. Thanks a lot for the insight. Do you have any documentation on this? Also do you know if it does the same thing with psoriasis? in Ohio Shari wrote: > This is a triple post...WANTED to share, I went to our DAN Dr today, and an AMAZING thing happened!!! Guest guest
No documentation, it is a well known fact in the medical community (wish they shared it earlier) that CERTAIN yeast glows. I believe ANY kind of dermatitus can be yeast related. Doesn't matter the type of skin problem, if it is the right kind of yeast, it will glow! ( Some yeast does not, it still can be a problem)-Shari Re: HOORAY!!!! > Shari, > I'm going to try that. I've been having trouble getting the yeast overgrowth tests done on my children. Guest guest
I don't know the scientific backround behind " glowing yeast " , I was shocked that he was the first Dr. to mention it...(For years I have been arguing with my other Ped that the rash was consistent with his " yeast " outbreaks, diahrea, tantrums) I brought my daughter in, she had developed an interesting pigment discrepency on her stomach, he explained that some yeast " glowed " so as a favor I asked him to shine it on Shanes hands. I am not sure why the yeast glow, maybe their genetic makeup has flourescent properties?? Have to look that up. Mercury is DIRECTLY correlated to yeast growth from what I have learned. When mercury is present in the body, the toxins help kill off bacteria (good and bad, might explain why my son rarely had a bacterial infection) BUT when bacteria is taken out of the scenario, yeast flourishes. When you chelate, and you remove the mercury, the yeat reaks havoc, because now there is NOTHING else in the body fighting it (the mercury and yeast keep each other at bay from what I understand) I have also learned until you get rid of the mercury problem, you will not be able to totally cure the yeast problem. It turns out it was not a mercury rash, BUT a yeast outbreak. (The blacklight proved that as well) SO now we are on Diflucan once again....Hope this helped...-Shari Re: HOORAY!!!! > Shari > I gotta ask too how is this yeast thing coming with the chelation. Guest guest
Shari, Can this be spotted if I just go and buy a regular black light bulb and use a regular lamp or is it all special equipment? I am interested since my son has bad excema and is on nystatin and wonder if there is a correlation or not. Guest guest
I tried my older son's black light on my son with a high yeast issue. He too has a lot of eczema. A lot of stuff was glowing, any lint or food or dirt on his body. It was weird but the rash didn't glow for us. Cathy
Guest guest
Hi I picked up a blacklight too. I did a check on my son. I noticed the rash looked like a pattern , but no glowing. I eat so much candy, choclate etc. I can't get enough and I have had this itchy rash on my arms. It looks just like my sons, except his is worse and last night he kept scratching. I did a yeast treatment a long while ago and it was pretty awful. I stopped it. Now I am embarking on chelation so what I am going to do If this is yeast ??? I will check him again cause he wasn't glowing, but you could see the marks. Help. Shari Can you give me an idea of what you think it is. Maybe you could describe just what it looks like so I know if it is yeast. kelly > The rash doesn't glow...patterns do...(all of the ecsema spots > didn't glow..) Guest guest
, The rash, without black light, looks like red patches, sometimes scaly, sometimes not. It is VERY itchy, my son is constantly scratching. Was your yeast treatment awful b/c of die off? I am curious. I knew, prior to blacklight, that my sons' was yeast b/c it would miraculously disappear each time he was given a Nystatin protocol. Honestly, from what I read, you will never be able to combat the yeast 100% until after all mercury is removed...Mercury and Yeast keep each other in check, (Mercury supposedly kills all of the bacteria, good and bad, which keep yeast in check.) After Chelation, then you suppposedly are able to conquer the yeast problem for good. We are currently on round 8 (this weekend) of chelation, and just started Diflucan. If you goto PDR & sign up as a customer, their free plan, you will find " childhood eczema " and you will see the different pics of what it may appear as...hope this helps -Shari kc62765@... wrote: > Hi > I picked up a blacklight too. Guest guest
Shari I don't know if it was a die off from nystatin. Probably, possibly. I gave it a month and it was awful regression. I figured after looking at heavy metals that if metal was the problem the yeast would not go away. So that is where I am at. I tried the light again. No glowing. Maybe I got the wrong lamp. Or maybe it is ecezma/dermatitis. who the heck knows. Most the doctors that have seen it don't know or just call it eczema. We have definitely gotten rid of it without yeast treatment. It kinda comes and goes, like an allergy. I don't know if I will ever figure it out. He has extremely Dry skin too. I know thyroid can do some of that and I also know thyroid can be out of whack due to metals ... I've tried fatty acids and everything I can think of and somtimes it is better. My guess is he had something he reacted too , but i don't know what that is. I am going after the metals. .. kelly

I'm not 100% sure what kind of light they use but one of the methods of diagnosis for Dermatitis herpetiformis is florescence ( http://tray.dermatology.uiowa.edu/DPT/Hist/DH-DIF-01.jpg ) DH is closely related to celiac and causes outbreaks of eczema like rashes. Just something to keep in mind. ---------------------------------------------- Jay Bigam Marketing and Information Technology Manager Kinnikinnick Foods Inc. www.kinnikinnick.com Toll Free: 1-
