Guest guest
Success at last! Well I tested my son's ATEC score before starting the diet and he was scored at 101 which is severe according to the scale. One month into the GFCF diet and he is now scored at a 72. Amazing! For anyone else out there who is having second thoughts about the effectiveness of this diet, please monitor your childs ATEC scores and watch those numbers go down. The lower they go, the better. was so severe before the diet I had given up all hope they he would ever be able to communicate to me but he is. He doesn't so much verbalize yet but he brings me to what he wants. I'm elated! Do the ATEC scoring, (www.autism.com/atec) it will bring you hope! Hope this helps anyone out who is struggling with the diet.
