Guest guest
Thank you to each and every one of you who responded to my post re: Frookie cookies. I was overwhelmed to see so many people respond! For those of you interested, I have typed out the ingredients as listed on the packages below. We took these cookies away from Tevin last night and will keep everyone posted on what happens over the next few days. As I mentioned, these cookies were the ONLY thing that has changed in Tevin's diet, so I am now thinking about possible cross-contamination with the 2 boxes we had (I had no idea my son could be extra sensitive but we have not seen this type of behavior since starting the diet) or perhaps one of the other ingredients being the culprit. At first I thought my son was at the onset of a cold or flu as he usually regresses a little just before it hits him but this is not the case because language has been anything but regressing (YAY!), it's only the behaviors that have gone down the tube. Again, I will keep everyone updated on the next few days and I thank you all for your reponses!!!!! Frookie Double Chocolate: Rice flour, naturally milled organic sugar, crystalline fructose, semi sweet chocolate chips (crystallized cane juice, unsweetened chocolate, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, vanilla), expeller pressed soybean oil*, raisin puree, natural cocoa, egg whites*, carob powder, honey, cream of tartar, baking soda, soy lecithin, salt. * My son's test showed he was NOT allergic to eggs or soybean. Frookie Chocolate Chip: Rice flour, semi sweet chocolate chips, (crystallized cane juice, unsweetened chocolate, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, vanilla), naturally milled organic sugar, crystalline fructose, expeller pressed soybean oil, date puree, egg whites, honey, cream of tartar, baking soda, soy lecithin, salt. > In a message dated 3/15/01 4:26:39 PM Pacific Standard Time, dbd@t... > writes: > > > > Every day has been better then the last and we have a renewed faith > > in my son's future!!! > > Despite the cookie regression, it's encouraging to hear of such wonderful > success!
