Guest guest
Some believe that the only way to rid the yeast problem is to do the mercury detox. Mercury detox then would allow the gut to heal as well. Dont know how much is theory or definite reality. I believe that this has happened for some. Guest guest
I would like to do the mercury detox for Evan but unfortunately his has some mercury fillings in his baby teeth. I waiting to see what kind of protocol they might be getting together on it. Dr. Rimland said they are putting something together where it might be a standard procedure among the doctors instead of each doing something different?? does not have any fillings so I am hoping that this new information might be something his doctor will do for him and that it might help his asthma. betty Re: Healing the Leaky Gut/Yeast Treatment > Some believe that the only way to rid the yeast problem is to do the mercury > detox. > Mercury detox then would allow the gut to heal as well. Guest guest
Hello, I think that a very comprehensive summary on the leaky gut theory and diet is the story of n's son, it is really worth going through. Guest guest
Everyone out there who is interested in detoxifying the body of mercury and other chemicals should really check out the website for the jobiwa tea. I finally looked it up the other day and it has alot of really great info. Not only for help with autism but there are teas that help with upper respiratory problems like asthma and cancer teas. It is very interesting and it is all organic.
Guest guest
, whatever you find out please share with me as I will with you. My 2 year old daugther has leaky gut and I am very much trying to find out as much as info as I can to help her. In fact, I found out on my own as her doc was not very helpful. I am now taking her to a new doc on Monday who I had heard is very knowledgeable about leaky gut etc. My heart breaks as I too feel that the antibotic use put her over the edge. I wish I would have been more knowledgeble about antibotic use as everything seem to happen after our family physician (not pedetrician) put her on a heavy duty antibotic for an ear infection. Guest guest
Ruth, go to www.kirkmanlabs.com and check out their articles. We have used a lot of them. Their anti-yeast products are fairly new. They have Colostrum Gold and Pro-Culture Gold that should be very good for your child. Evan gets the Colostrum Gold almost every day and is seldom sick unless he eats something that he should not. I talked to a friend of mine who is an ob/gyn nurse and she is convinced that my son has had yeast overgrowth since he was born (she says hospitals are full of candida). unfortunately, he presented with a severe urine burn on his groin that was dismissed by our pediatrician as a " Ph problem " so this matter has gone unchecked for 2.5 years...not to mention aided by multiple rounds of antibiotics...etc. I'll keep you posted if I get any replies. Take care,

What about the e-lists for recoveredkids and dramyskids? And according to one listmate, Dr. Amy Holmes is claiming that her child eats a " normal " diet since completing chelation. If we're dealing with celiac disease, the gut can be healed, but gluten remains (at this time) a damaging substance that will re- injure the intestinal lining. The good part (besides the healing) is that people with CD who initially have to eliminate dairy, rice, and some other grains, are usual able to return those foods to their diets after 6 mos - 1 yr.
