hI Ann Marie,

I was so glad to see you were still with the group. I've

wondered many times how you and everyone else was doing.

How have you been? I've been steadly losing strength and haveing

more pain over the last four years. I got disability in 2002, which

was a big relief.

I got my mini horses just for fun. I had horses when I was growing

up so I have always wanted them again. I knew I couldn't handle full

size horses so the minis seemed the ideal solution. They keep me

moving. If not for them I would probably be worse off. I know they

have to be fed and watered no matter how bad I feel so they have

been a big help because the pain would keep me down. I still would

not be able to have them if not for my son Dan who does all the

heavy lifting involved with their care.

We would love to know if their is a connection with MS and Mito.

I have also been told I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and my MRI's

showed Demylinating disease, which could mean MS.

My thigh pain is mostly in the front and along the outer sides.

It is constant and very painful. My whole leg also has pain, but

not as bad as the thigh area. Where is yours and how does it hurt?

Last year the cold didn't bother me too bad. I went to the barn in

tennis shoes the whole winter and felt nothing in my feet, which I i

know wasn't right. This year my feet are numb and pained at the same

time and when I come in I have to lay under two heavy blankets for ho

hours to get them warm. Then the pain starts really bad. Do you have

any of this happening.

We were unable to go to the Pittsburgh Conference, but we did go

to a seminar that Dr. Cohen had last spring. I met Laurie and I

think there.

Please let me know how you are doing.

Debbie
