It is interesting to try some of the suppliments yourself. I tried Kirkman's colostrum gold and had tons of energy.
Guest guest
Never take zinc on an empty stomach! It tears my stomach up. I can only take one 50 mg tablet in a 24 hour period, and I must take it on a full stomach or I get just as sick as you just described. My mother doesn't get sick like this from zinc, so I guess it doesn't do this to everyone. Hope you feel better soon. The Echinacea will not usually upset your stomach. So this am I did a zinc and and echinachia...I was out of comission for 2- 3 hours! Stomach cramps, diarehea, heart palpitations, cold sweats, dizzy! UG!!! If my 38 year old system couldn't handle it, I can only imagine how truely bad my daughter feels when we change or add something and she has a bad day...just food for thought! Guess I'll bring the echinachia down and add it in gradually. >
Guest guest
, Echinacea is a common allergen. *I know!* I think it might be related to ragweed or something like that but I'm not sure. When I feel I'm coming down with something, I usually take some colloidal silver and it knocks it right out. Sometimes there will be a short healing crisis (nausea maybe) but it is always very short and then all of a sudden you're completely better. Sorry, can't help with the fries. Our local store says they don't cross contaminate (and I believe them)...however, there must be soy or corn in the fries, or oil. Gillian is ok with pure potatoes but, as a treat (it has been several weeks, 3 or 4) we got fries from Mcs. She has been " zoney " ever since. Can anyone confirm for me? She's had them before with no probs. That was before we started rotation and eliminated soy and corn and, and, and.. I can't think of anything else it might be. > > Thanks for your widom! > > > > > >
Guest guest
, The Mcdonalds in our area uses dextrose coating on the fries and it is cottonseed oil and corn oil to fry in. Guest guest
, Regarding the McD fries. Check with them and see what kind of oil they are using. I checked with our local McD's and they use a vegetable oil which contains corn oil. Maybe it's the corn that's having an effect on your daughter (if they use that type)? Hope you both feel better soon. Elsie (in Texas) supplements and Mc's fries > My next question is about Mc 's fries... Guest guest
Hi - I got the list from Mcs and this is what is listed for the fries: Potatoes, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, natural flavor??, dextrose, sodium acid pyrophosphate (to preserve natural color). Cooked in partially hyrogenated soy bean and corn oils, (TBHQ to protect flavor (which I believe is derived from vanillan) citric acid, dimethylpolysioxane and natural flavor. Sounds pretty scary to me!! and my son loves Mcs fries!!! Pam
Guest guest
YUCK!!! All that in a fry? he!he! Thanks for doing the leg work. I had no idea. Where did you get the Mc s list? I'm gonna guess the burger patties (we don't eat them anymore..Gilly gets hyper) have soy. If you've got the list, give me a shout. Thanks a bunch! Guest guest
, Most places cook the fries in Soy oil. Have you considered giving her a digestive enzyme when you go out to eat for those " just in case " times? This really seems to help .
