2nd try at PEP - Help please

Hi everyone,

I am frustrated, and I don't know what to do. My

son has been GFCF for almost 3 years. I gave

Kirkman's enzymaide for infractions, cross

contamination and (recently) corn and soy.

I want to try PEP. I think it will really help my

son who seems to be reacting to more and more. I

tried 1 capsule of PEP with popcorn for a couple days

last month and my son went crazy... agression,

hyperactivity, inability to handle any challenge,

increased verbal perseveration, increased OCD

behaviors, intentionally peeing in pants, etc.

(definite withdrawal reaction for ALex)

I stopped PEP for three weeks. He was back to

" normal " .

This week I started 1/6th capsule of PEP with his

ritalin and breakfast in the morning. NO problems!

Yeah!

Tonight I added another 1/6th capsule with dinner.

One hour later my son is HYPER!!!! He is also rolling

on the floor laughing. He is doing all the things he

knows will get him in trouble(climbing,grabbing his

sister's things, standing in the sink) It is exactly

like what we see when gets gluten or casein.

In a couple of hours I am expecting to start

seeing the withdrawal effects. What am I doing wrong?
