Guest guest
Didn't someone on the list have an problem with enzyme-aid but it was ok if she broke open the capsule. I think he/she speculated that the capsule may have had corn in it. Ann in Memphis
Guest guest
I give it to my son twice a day. I put it in his water at breakfast and lunch time. As far as safety issues goe, I'm not sure. a > Can some of you advise me? I just received my order of Enzymaid from > Kirkman's, and I would like to know how the rest of you use it. Guest guest
Digestive enzymes can help our kids' tattered & inflamed GI tracts digest food more easily. They can improve and speed the digestive process so that foods which might cause a minor reaction can be tolerated. Enzymaid specifically contains enzymes to breakdown gluten & casein so that minor cross-contamination might not cause a big problem. Our doctor also felt that regular use of digestive enzymes would help the GI track detox quicker and promote more rapid healing. -- In GFCFKids@y..., alwaysaway1@j... wrote: I don't give enzyme aid or any of these things to my son, but I am > curious as to what is the purpose of someone using this ? >

Thus, supplementing helps him break down foods easier, with limited irritation to his tummy. a

I use Enzymaid for my son daily. I give him one capsule before breakfast and dinner. I do not give it before lunch as he is in school. It is perfectly safe to give daily. It is used as a digestive aid and to help break down casein and gluten should your child ingest this by accident. I hope this helps. You can always email me with any further questions. Guest guest
It still could be the antibiotics. I never saw regression with Enzymaid. It aids in digestion. Lana
Guest guest
I gave my son an Enzymeaid last night with dinner and did not notice any regression. (Last year with Serenaid, he was was a gibbering loony toon within half an hour of taking it.) What I really want to know is: Is it OK for regular long-term use, or will it cause bladder problems like Serenaid can? Thanks- in FL >Quite the opposite. Guest guest
My son had a definite reaction to EnZymAid, too. I love Kirkman's products and use tons of their stuff, but it must be in the hypoallergenic version (which this was). I'm sure this product is great, but there was something my son reacted to with this enzyme. He's one of those kids that falls into the smaller percentage who also reacts to the sorbitol that is added to so many supplements and meds. Just goes to show you that every kid is different and reacts differently to certain things. Elsie (in Texas) ..
