I use the small, 2.5oz, Stage 1 babyfood fruits. My son can only

tolerate pears and peaches. He gets 1 jar prior to each meal with

all the supplements except CLO - I hate to ruin the taste for him.

He takes the CLO from one certain spoon as long as it has a dollup of

the fruitsauce with it. The fruit in no way covers up the taste, but

if I give him the CLO straight, he opens his mouth and lets the oil

run out all over his chin, clothes, carpet, etc. For some reason,

the consistency of the fruitsauce prompts him to keep his mouth

closed and swallow. I follow immediately with the supplement-

enriched fruit sauce. By doing it before each meal, he's at his

hungriest and least likely to balk at food. Plus I absolutely don't

feed him anything until he finishes the fruit sauce. He seems to

have learned that, and eats the fruit sauce without any big fuss,

although he's not exactly enthusiastic about the whole thing.
