Guest guest
Evan used to would not eat any meat that was not ground. I still have to cut his meat in small pieces for him but at least now he is eating meal like roast where before he would not. He used to chew the meat and spit it out but he would eat ground meat. Could this be a sensory problem? Betty ----- Original Message ----- > My son hates to eat meats, will eat chicken nuggets with ketchup. > However, he will chew on certain meats and spits it out. Guest guest
Mine(9 yrs) was like this but eventually started eating after about 3 months. I would offer it to him every night(boy, did the dog eat good for a while!) and he just started eating. He has slacked off of hamburgers(that is still the only beef he will eat) but he eats homemade chicken tenders and sausage. Love to all, Ann

My son prefers lamb, ostrich, and duck to chicken or turkey. Sometimes he likes beef and pork, sometimes he doesn't. He peels even the tiniest piece of fat off of meat, won't eat it. Since I have never done a rotation diet, I suspect that he is now sensitive to the meats he eats most frequently, and perhaps to the saturated fats for other reasons. His sister, on the other hand, detests even the smell of lamb and refuses to eat it oftener than once a month. She asks " what meat is this? " anytime I serve meatballs, spaghetti sauce, or anything with diced meat in it (since she knows those are the likeliest places for me to hide the mystery meats...) She loves chicken, sliced turkey, and pork. Still, I persist.... Lorilyn
