Guest guest
Hi all, I'm and have a 14 year old with Aspbergers. We are re-trying the GFCF diet. We were on it about a year ago for three months with no observable results. Just had an ELISA test done at Immuno Labs through Dr. Bradstreet and found he has sensitivities to 27 things including all citrus, eggs, potato, peanut, some beans and other assorted fruit and veggys. (No wonder the GFCF diet didn't work last time!!) But what's left to feed him.....rocks??? All the yummy little treats I used to make up contained potato flour and egg. I suppose I can experiment with potato flour substitute but what does one use as an egg substitute to bind baked stuff? And with what little food is left that he can eat, like rice, he can have only once every 4 days! ARGH! I have Hagman's cook book already and will try to modify. If anyone can help with cereal(we've tried them all in the healthfood store and they are pitiful) egg substitute, decent ice cream substitute...in short..ALL HELP AND SUGGESTIONS WELCOME. I live in central Florida where health food stores are slim pickins! Thanks for any help, Zach's freaked out mom
