Guest guest
Hey Lynda, I just want to say that I admire you and respect you a lot for how you handle DW's situation with the Mito. My wife and have been through a lot in the relatively short time that my illness has been progressing but it is refreshing to see someone that is as strong as you are even in your toughest times. Guest guest
Lynda, Dawn is handling things okay. It is up and down a lot but that happens with this monster. My oldest son is totally opposite of your son. He got worried about me the few days after I got home from the hospital so he told his teacher that he wanted to call me to check on me. And thankfully his teacher is a Christian also so they stopped and prayed for me together. Sometimes it gets to be a little too much with the questions and he is always wanting to get me my cane, and check on me and asks me how I am doing all the time, but I am glad that he is concerned. The only trouble he is getting into is he is talking a lot in class but he does that anyway. Hey if you need to vent, you can call Dawn and talk to her on the phone sometime. Just email me privately and I will give you our phone number. I will put you on our prayer list at church also if that is all right with you. Talk to you soon. I am a little discombobulated right now....out of sorts for those who need a definition:) We are having some behavior problems with little Spencer at school....he is a very sweet loving compassionate child but he is getting in trouble almost daily at school. He is basically having melt downs and getting angry. We feel like he doesn't know how to handle his Daddy's illness. Everytime something new happens or a new piece of equipment comes to the house, he has a bad week at school. It happened with the wheelchair, sleep studies and the Cpap. I guess our kids have to make adjustments and mourn the loss of things just like we do... Again, thanks for the uplift:) How is Dawn doing? Please send my best to her. I depend on my Faith to get me through and of course humor is always good. With love, Lynda R.
