Guest guest
Laurie, This is a great list and thank you so much for putting it together. I suggest that members print it and put it with their medical information and that we also save it in our files. I'm just not sure how secure our files really are any longer though. It seems that Yahoo is now bumping lists out. I very large one that would have been on yahoogroups exactly 5 years today was removed stating Terms of Service (TOS). This list was used by mostly deaf individuals and it was totally informational. The only posts that were sent were from the listowner and all of the posts were news worthy items that would apply to the deaf and hard of hearing. There was no warning. Just April 4th, the list with it's archives and all disappeared. Members might want to go to the files and even the links to make sure there isn't something you want to print and save. Unfortunately, it now appears that Yahoogroups is secure and hoping to keep our information appears to be in jeopardy. There is way to back up our archives and I approached yahoo on this today to see if they had a way to do it. They simply told me to save each individual message one at a time to my computer. Alice -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I don't understand why the other group was removed -- due to TOS. Does this mean the group did something wrong? Or are they just randomly bumping lists? Maggie > Laurie, > > This is a great list and thank you so much for putting it together. Guest guest
Alice I am upset that yahoo would do this. You can't begin to save everything on your computer. I do think it is a good idea to print off what we want. It would be a shame to loose everything that is there. Laurie
