Fast heartbeat can be a sign of hyperthyroidism (overactive

thyroid). Someone in my family (who is not autistic) was recently

diagnosed with this and had this symptom. You might want to discuss

it with your son's doctor. It can be serious if left untreated.

Our dd has an innocent heart murmur too. She's been checked out by a

cardiologist & he says her heart is healthy.

Hi

One of the side effects from mercury is a fast heartbeat. I was on a

printed list I recieved from my DAN Doctor who is doing chelation for kids

that have been exposed to vaccines containing thermosol . My son has a fast

heart beat too and many of the symptoms associated with mercury toxicity.

Were there other things on the printed list that are symptoms associated

with mercury toxicity. I'm sure a lot of us could benefit from seeing that

list.

My DD has an innocent heart murmur meaning that it sounds like a heart

murmur but isn't dangerous. My dad, brothers, sister, etc also have this. It

runs in my dad's family so to say that my dd has it because she is autistic

or that something else is wrong relating or causing autism doesn't hold

true. Everyone else is NT.

I think I remember reading that a faster than normal heartbeat can

indicate a problem with mercury. It's one of the symptoms I remember

reading about and wanting to have checked with my son. I had the

pediatrician and his DAN doctor listen to his heart and they found

nothing to be concerned about. Hope this helps.

My son, too, was diagnosed with " tachycardia " 3 1/2 years ago on our only

visit to a DAN doctor. Recently, I read in Andy Cutler's book, that this is

a symptom of mercury poisoning.

has a heart murmur and he is my ADHD child. I don't think that either,

but I do wonder if it is one of those things that ties in with it (in the

family). With me and my boys there are so many things that seem to tie in

with this.

has Autism, detached retinas, the valve in his heart didn't close off

when he was born and had to have surgery, had trachea damage and had a trach

tube for about 2 years (also had a feeding tube), and was born without a hip

socket and had surgery (will have second surgery on it this summer).

is ADHD (and possibly Tourette's Syndrome), has Strabismus

(cross-eyes), and a heart murmur.

I didn't have enough red blood cells to fight off infection when I was born,

I have/had Crohn's disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Cancer of the thyroid,

Storage Pool Disorder (a very rare blood disorder), Migraines, and OCD.

WHEW I don't think I missed anything LOL!
