Guest guest
Does anyone know how Zyrtec is long term to take? Ever since I began 1 teaspoon liquid in the evening my son sleeps through the night and if I only give him 1/2 teaspoon he wakes earlier and earlier. He has been taking it for seasonal allergies especially mold for over 6 months straight. Thanks Cathy
Guest guest
I thought zyrtec was supposed to be a once a day medicine that was supposed to be good until you take it again the next day. This is how I took my clariton, until my insurance company stopped covering clariton and I had to switch to zyrtec. The zyrtec does not seem to work very well for me. I have been having more problems with my breathing since I switched to zyrtec. It seems to wear off quicker than the clariton did. I don't know if this helps. My suggestion is that if your child is waking up earlier than when you give him a full dose then don't cut it back. It probably is wearing off too soon.
