Milwaukee Get together

This is Janet Sample. I was the one who kind of started the Milwaukee get

together. I posted it on the adultmito and groups but forgot the mito

group.

We really did not have any definite plans for a date till a couple of weeks ago

but have now settled on May 14th. No definite time yet but Joanne from Chicago

has arranged for " Kathy's house " which is a hospitality house. I will forward

her post to the mito list. She has arranged for us to meet there from 3 to 6

pm.

I just forwarded it to the small group who have expressed interest. We have one

person who needs to use the Milwaukee public transit system for her scooter so

we need to see if she can meet there. Otherwise other suggestions were the

shops at the old Avenue Mall.

So, anyone who wants to join us please send me an email, jansample@...

So far I am coming from near Brillion, Cara is from Plymouth, Kendra from

Illinois, Joanne from Illinois with her daughters who are older, Dawn from

Racine? possibly Vivian from Illinois and Vivian from Menomonee Falls? I think

I have everyone. If not please let me know so I can add your name to a little

contact list I put together in my outlook addresses.

Somewhere at the beginning of this it was suggested not to have any children, we

never mentioned an age limit or anything but I know my son who is 12 would not

be good for sitting around talking for a couple of hours.

I will forward the info from Joanne to the mito group, anyone on the adult mito

or group who would like it please let me know.

Same here. I'm in Appleton and didn't hear anything of this Milwaukee get

together. we use to have a support group in Milwaukee, but that slowly came

apart as we couldn't devote a lot of time to fund raising for the UMDF

organization. But it would be fun to get together at some point. I'm gone from

July 1st till the end of August. The kids and I go up to Washington Island for

the summer. I'll be back and forth at times but never know when that will be.

e; I'll be in Madison the end of May for a quickie ENT appointment for

Leah and then again the end of June for Leah for an eye appointment. That time,

we will be staying at the Mc House because her appointment will be

at 8:00 a.m. and we don't want to leave Appleton so blooming early. I have no

idea who is getting this get together. But it is needed with quite a few of us

in Wisconsin.

My Dear Friends-

We have had a change in plans and will not up in Wisconsin as we had

planned. My heart sank when I learned that my husband's work plans changed

drastically...We were so looking forward to going up there for a much needed

break from the south.......How I wished we had stayed north......Sigh...

So I hope you all have a wonderful time gathering together. I'll be

there in spirit, don't you know????

I have thought about putting together a video tape and sending it to

Janet-that way if any of you wanted to see me in my surroundings you could.....

You all are a great bunch of people and I love have a friendship with

you.

We will be up in Wisconsin the week of August 7th...so maybe I can

meet some of you then.

I deeply apologize and am heartbroken, because I REALLY wanted to meet

all of you.
