Guest guest
Hi Patty, Yes, I do reognize that other vaccines have harmed my child, because of their thimerosal content. My child received 25 different vaccinations and 127.5 mcg of thimerosal before the age of 2. That's not 25 shots, but 25 viruses into her system. I think both the thimerosal AND the combo MMR literally were the 'straw that broke the camel's back.' I just don't believe that 'all vaccines are created equal' when it comes to vaccines and autism connections. The reason many single out the MMR shot as the culprit is precisely because of Dr. Wakefield's research about finding measles in the gut of autistic children and his theories of these measles damaging the gut in a way that the gut becomes 'leaky,' releasing peptides that alter brain functioning. That was got the this whole ball rolling and if we assign blame to each and every vaccine instead of looking more into the MMR-autism connection, I believe we disregard his remarkable research and theory. Karyn Seroussi's book is an excellent read about the realization of this, along with many in-depth Medline articles by Wakefield and others. Good to see you on the list - have been meaning to email you. Write when you have a chance and let me know how the diet is going for you.
