Guest guest
Hi RH, Thanks. I have had my sugar checked so many times, but no abnormalities. I will keep it in the back of my mind, just in case though. Water no longer helps, waiting, well, my extreme hunger lasts for hours, unfortuantely. The very few times I made it through, I was OK, but it is nearly intolerable most of the time. I am thinking it is a cry for energy and hoping the injectibles will take the 'edge' off. I have tried protien diets (though not Atkins) and it is good, but I crave the grains. Very frustrating, esp. since the sugar 'junk' will give me a pick-me-up, though I pay for it with my weight. Ugh! Guest guest
Hi RH, I have considered an endocrinologist, but I already have so many doctors, the thought of another is overwhelming. I even asked for a referral to an endo from my neuro, but hesitated. I am considering going to one, and will probably decide in June/July. I do have low thyroid, but am on 2 grains a day. I see my doc (family practice) soon and he will have the most recent bloodwork on it. I will discuss it with him, as maybe I need to be on more thyroid or there could be an adrenal problem. Ugh! Treating this disease is as tiring as having it! Gatorade? Why Gatorade? I don't remember anyone mentioning it, maybe they did, but I don't remember. I will give it a shot and see how it works. Thanks for the suggestions. God bless, Hazelpone ----- Original Message ----- > Have you been to an endocrinologist (sorry if you've answered this > already)?
