Guest guest
Hi everyone, 's mom called today and said that her surgery at CCF went well. Instead of the total colectomy, the surgeon gave her the appendicostomy, which is a tube that goes into the appendix to flush out the colon. He's hoping that she won't need the rest of her colon removed and this will work. He also discovered some scar tissue near her rectum so is hoping this may be why she was having increasing difficulties. He removed it and is hopeful that she will make a good recovery. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I'll update more when I hear from her mom again. Malisa

Guest guest
Hi, I printed this off so I would remember to let my prayer group know on Friday and I would also like to know how she is doing later in the week (if you get more news) so I give an update at church on Sunday, as our Assistant Pastor announced it church that I was requesting prayers for with her upcoming surgery. Thanks, Dolores dawnanich Danich1@...> wrote: --- Thanks for the update Malisa! Guest guest
Thanks for the update, Malisa, I'm hoping that the reduced surgery and the fact that they found " new things " and addressed them will both help out physically and keep her confident the docs know what they're doing. Take care, RH > > > > >Hi everyone, > > >'s mom called today and said that her surgery at CCF went well. > > >Instead of the total colectomy, the surgeon gave her the appendicostomy, which is > > >a tube that goes into the appendix to flush out the colon.
