I was told there are very few side effects, and that they are much less likely to cause problems than antibiotics. Has anyone taken it - anyone problems with it? HI RH, I took Tamiflu in December when I actually had the flu to try to lessen the effects of it. I didn't have any side effects of it nor did my parents who also took it. One of my friends took it and did have some dizziness with it, but that was about it. It seems like a pretty safe med overall. Do you know if is doing OK? Hi , is at home and is doing so-so. She can probably update more if she is checking her e-mails, but she is having trouble with the surgeon who did her partial colectomy. She needs to have another surgery done but he's not returning phone calls and can't schedule an appt. or the surgery til early March. She's feeling so sick that she's not sure if she can wait that long so she's trying to get an appt. with a doctor at Cinci Children's for a second opinion, but he can't see her til mid March. She's not sure what she's going to do at this point.... Malisa
Guest guest
Malisa Please give my love if you talk with her. Is she going to have to have the more complex surgery? Is this one not working the way they had hoped? laurie > From: Malilibear@... > Reply-To: > Date: Wed, 16 Feb 2005 23:09:47 EST > To: > Subject: Re: Tamiflu - anyone taken it? > > > > In a message dated 2/16/2005 5:04:46 PM Eastern Standard Time, > dgregori@... writes: > > How are you doing? > > Do you know if is doing OK? > > > > > Hi , > is at home and is doing so-so. Is this one not working the way they had hoped? Hi Laurie, I will pass along your good wishes to . The surgery didn't work well for her at all. She is back in the same place she was before the surgery and really isn't feeling well. She wants to get the rest of her colon removed at this point, but can't get in touch with the surgeon to let him know her concerns. She does have an appt. with him for early March, but is afraid, with her declining health that that may be too far away. I think she's trying again to get in touch with the surgeon today. I'll let you know if I hear anymore. Malisa
