Not only does she work, she also runs a GFCF support group meeting from her home once a month and is just an amazing and funny person. I want to be her when I grow up! She inspires me. I don't know how she does it, but since I have met her in person I can say that she doesn't have an extra ounce on her body - she's a lean fighting machine. Just a bundle of energy. I totally feel like I am sinking too. My list of books that I am supposed to read is a mile long, and every so often I read a Romance novel just to take myself away from it all. I call that a mental health break. That and Temptation Island! (Those people think they have problems! Ha! My hubby and I take great pleasure watching all those young folks and their mini dramas) Anyway - my house has huge dust bunnies and the kitchen and toilets need a good scrub, but whatever. I keep pushing forward with what I need to do for my son and I get a lot of information from people like and all the folks on this list and it saves me a ton of time. Even though you feel like you are sinking, the fact that you are making time to get what you can from this list and your other research is a great thing. You aren't hiding your head in the sand. Lots of parents make that choice - they take what they are given by their school district and don't look any further. You are doing a great job for your child. Hang in there and I will give you the advice that I can't seem to follow myself.... try not to compare yourself to other people - use them as inpiration and as a leg up - I think we all make an incredible team for our kids.
