Guest guest
Hello again. I'll probably hound you all with silly question for a little while, I'm sorry. Probably my most distressing problem at the moment is eating. I am battling low grade nausea; it is not bad, just " there " . I did go through a period last year where it did get bad and I ended up collapsing with low blood sugar, but since then I've managed it well enough. I just have periods, such as at the moment, where I have little desire to eat. I might get hungry, but the thought of food turns my stomach. I currently take Topamax 100mg a day for seizures, which does suppress appetite, but at that level it shouldn't be doing too much, it is usually at higher doses that the appetite suppression is an issue, and I wouldn't have thought nausea would be a problem. Has this been an issue for anyone else? How do they manage it? I am essentially a grin and bear it person, I solder on because that is what you can really only do I have no dx for mito, just trying to gather my courage and info together to do battle with the health professionals (again!) Many thanks.
