Guest guest
We did the IgG test for our son, Jakob. We already had good ideas about what foods were a problem for him. The test results were pretty accurate. Eggs were worse than gluten or casein, which explained his strong reaction to his birthday cake! We know he has problems with some foods that didn't show up as a problem, such as corn & potatos, but the test can't detect everything. He either stims more and /or gets very red ears and cheeks with the wrong foods. Carla > Hi all, > > I want some opinions on IgG allergy tests. There is a lot of conflicting info on this test. Some say it will only determine what you have been recently exposing yourself too . Others feel that it measures long term allergic response to certain foods. Has anyone ever seen, really SEEN improvement from eliminating the food that is on results from this kind of test?? Did any of you feel that it did indeed reveal to you a real allergy--one that you could see the effects of a slip up from??? Thank you for the info sharing, Dont know which Dr's to trust anymore!!!! > > >
Guest guest
Hi, My kid's IgG results have proven accurate. Food was scaled from 1 to 5. He definitely reacts to 3s and up, and also reacts to overloads of 2s. Initially, he was just gfcf. When I eliminated the 3+s, he improved to a new level. When there's an infringement, he gets a red face and becomes very scattered and emotional within minutes. For us, the IgG food panel was a big help in determining what needed to be removed. > Hi all, > > I want some opinions on IgG allergy tests. There is a lot of conflicting info on this test.
