Guest guest
My 4.5 year old daughter has been on the diet for about 2 months. We're going to be traveling out of town for a wedding for 4 days and staying at a hotel. I don't know if we'll have a refrigerator or not. She loves GFCF nuggets and fries but I doubt the nuggets will keep in just a cooler without a fridge. She loves french toast and pancakes but I'm sure we can't get them gfcf in a restaurant. She'll eat tofu and soy yogurt but again without a fridge and traveling around town, it may be hard to keep things cold. I've been baking some of her favorite foods but I want her to have more than baked goods. She will still eat some jarred baby food but her cousin who's the same age will be there and I don't want my daughter to be teased. Any advice for a limited food eater traveling away from home? Thanks. Carol
Guest guest
First, check with the hotel about the frig. If they don't have one (which is rare these days), they will probably rent one for an extra charge - and it's worth it. Then post to your listmates what town you will be in, and they will let you know where you can buy the food you need. Bring lots of staples & snack foods, just to have handy what you need. > My 4.5 year old daughter has been on the diet for about 2 months. > We're going to be traveling out of town for a wedding for 4 days > and staying at a hotel. Guest guest
If the hotel has a restaurant, can you call ahead and ask if they can prepared some gfcf foods for your child? It works with some places.
