Guest guest
Welcome ! Congratulations Mommy and Daddy. I will keep my fingers crossed for her appoinment. Please keep us posted on her outcome! DM Jeff Gleacher gleache@...> wrote: was born Jan 07. Weight 6lbs 12oz. Height 19.5in. She was diagnosed via ultrasound as bilateral clubfoot with no additional complications. After birth, her pediatrician believes it may not be clubfoot, but just a condition of positioning the feet in utero. Her feet are flexible enough that they can be brought to a normal position with very little pressure. We plan to see Dr. Zaltz in Royal Oak MI who treats club feet based on the Ponseti method for his diagnosis.

Guest guest
Welcome to the world !! Good to have you and your proud parents on our list! We were also told it was positional, then told it was true clubfoot but mild and then told by our Ponseti Dr. (and I use that term loosely) that they can't really tell if it's positional or not but the treatment is the same. For whatever that's worth... but her foot is just perfect now and that's what counts. The doc who dx her with true CF mentioned the crease on the inside ankle area as an indicator. Her foot was totally flexible and easily pushed into a neutral position like 's. This is wonderful news for you and she will have a perfect little tootsie very soon. Let us know if you have any questions and come join our picture list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CFPics/ so you can show off your little one :~} Kori At 08:39 AM 1/10/2005, you wrote: > was born Jan 07.
