Guest guest
Hi My son also used to wake quite often. I breast fed him for 6 months. I then went back to work part-time and so he went onto a bottle. I used to give him a bottle about 10.30pm whether he was awake or not, to try and take him through the night but it never worked as I would end up giving him another in the small hours and i found it hard with not enough sleep. I am a bit older too and have to older girls who never had sleep issues. Anyway I found the gro bags worked quite well (like a sleeping bag) and he still wears them now and he is nearly 21 months. I used to think he was just a light sleeper but the other afternoon I actually vacuumed his room in the afternoon and he slept through it!!!! I have put a lot of it down to teething as he suffers with each tooth and also the minute he has a cold he has restless nights. SInce we put him in his big boy car bed he sleeps much better. If he wakes now it is usually because he is not too well. I think the cot sides woke him It is hard to tell. I have always given him milk when he wakes as if I left him he would get in such a state I would be up for hours but if I gave him a bottle quite soon after he woke he would just go back to sleep. Now he rarely has anything in the night so it does get easier!! Perhaps it is just boys!!!!! Rach, Steve & Connor -- not very much sleep HAPPY NEW YEAR EVEYONE My son is wearing the Markels, he started off at 23\7 and his sleeping pattern was good, now he wears them for 14\7 and he doesnot sleep very well I seem to be up with him far too many times during the night I don't know if it even has anything to with the change in his hours or what it is but I'm tired and would like some sleep. He's not up all night but he wakes up about 3 to 4 times a night seeming to be hungry so I just feed him anyway and this lasts about 10 to 20 minutes then he falls asleep again. He only naps for about 20-40 minuts during the day.Did anyone else exprience this after a change in hours. He is my third and I should know everything by now right.....lol but my other two did not have cf or did not have sleeping issues. Thanks for listening Jen mom to bcf dbb 14\7....^ months old
Guest guest
Hi Jen, Could it be that the bar is getting too short? I found that with my son, whenever he started sleeping worse, I simply widened the bar a little (ours is adjustable) and he slept better again. Just a thought, with (*9/02) and Alister (*9/02, RCF, Ponseti method) --- Jen jenandloren@...> wrote: > > HAPPY NEW YEAR EVEYONE > > My son is wearing the Markels, he started > off at 23\7 and > his sleeping pattern was good, now he wears them for > 14\7 and he > doesnot sleep very well I seem to be up with him far > too many times > during the night I don't know if it even has > anything to with the > change in his hours or what it is but I'm tired and > would like some > sleep. He's not up all night but he wakes up about 3 > to 4 times a > night seeming to be hungry so I just feed him anyway > and this lasts > about 10 to 20 minutes then he falls asleep again. He > only naps for > about 20-40 minuts during the day.Did anyone else > exprience this > after a change in hours. He is my third and I should > know everything > by now right.....lol but my other two did not have > cf or did not have > sleeping issues. Thanks for listening > > Jen mom to bcf dbb 14\7....^ months old > > > > ___________________________________________________________ ALL-NEW Yahoo!
