Subject: statins (cholesterol lowering drugs) and Mit disorders

I am new to this board and am interested in information regarding the

etiologies, treatments, etc. of mitochondrial disorders. I am unable

to access the file archives , and the ones available do not seem to

have that kind of information. I am deeply interested in

mitochondrial disorders--feel statin therapy (specifically lipitor)

is associated with mitochondrial disorders. thanks for any

assistance.
