Guest guest
Hi I have never had any problem with cranberry juice. cranberry inhibits yeast > maybe it has more to do with the fight of the beastys ( yeast and things) these critters are so hard to get rid of , than the cranberry. kelly
Guest guest
I need some help from any MD'S on the list or parents that have experienced this. We have been fighting yeast problems with our daughter for months now. She was on Nystatin for several months (and had crap coming out of her eyes from the die off) and is now taking probiotics and is on a very low sugar/yeast diet (as well as being GFCF since May 2000). I started putting pure cranberry juice in her water with a little bit of pear juice to help the flavor. Lately my daughter has been asking for the cranberry juice. A lot. She wants it really sour. For the last month and half she has been having redness and irritation after urinating. Her pediatrician has done three urine tests (all came back negative) to see if there was any infection and we have been using a combination cream of cortate and canestan to ease the irritation. Could the cranberry juice be causing the burning problem. About three months ago we had to switch to transdermal secretin with PLO. Has anyone had any problems like this? She is really suffering with urination. Thanks Elli
Guest guest
Have you verified with the company that it is GFCF? Someone just told me their cranberry juice was possibly not GF when they called the company becuz they use a fermentation process(or something) that could have gluten.
